COUNTRY OUTLAW TRIBUTES
Who am I?
Dave McNab, born David Andrew McNab in Sudbury, Northern Ontario Canada. Grew up in Dowling, part of Onaping falls, small town just north of the Greater city of Sudbury. Dave attended Levac district high school where he began singing in his senior year. Early influences musically included such artists as Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings, as well as the likes of Garth brooks and Steve Earle.
An avid Martial artist in his youth he even went on to compete amongst the world’s elite in competition in his early adulthood. He attended post secondary at Laurentian University as well as Cambrian college in Sudbury where he also played rugby. After spending a number of years in southern Ontario in his early adult working life Dave moved back to his Hometown area where he still resides today.
It’s there where after being in a number of small “garage” bands he rekindled his love for playing and performing country music.
Performing all over the northern Ontario city and surrounding areas he quickly became a popular favourite amongst venue goers. Known for his powerful and soulful vocals with a seemingly endless range.
It was in 2018 that it was suggested to him that he should try a tribute act. With his uncanny resemblance both physically and vocally to Chris Stapleton it seemed like the right fit.
