Who am I?

Dave McNab, born David Andrew McNab in Sudbury, Northern Ontario, Canada, grew up in Dowling, part of Onaping Falls—a small town just north of the Greater City of Sudbury. Dave attended Levack District High School, where he began singing in his senior year. His early musical influences included legendary artists such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Garth Brooks, and Steve Earle. An avid martial artist in his youth, Dave went on to compete among elite-level competitors in his early adulthood. He pursued post-secondary education at Laurentian University and Cambrian College in Sudbury, where he also played rugby. After spending several years working in Southern Ontario, Dave returned to his hometown, where he continues to reside today. It was there, after performing with several local “garage” bands, that he rekindled his passion for country music. Performing across Northern Ontario and surrounding areas, Dave quickly became a crowd favorite, known for his powerful, soulful vocals and impressive vocal range. In 2018, Dave was encouraged to explore performing as a tribute artist. With his strong vocal style, authentic country sound, and natural stage presence closely aligning with the modern country powerhouse Luke Combs, it proved to be a perfect fit. Today, Dave delivers an engaging tribute experience that captures the energy, emotion, and signature sound that fans have come to love.
